5 Things that may be halting your Hair GROWTH

While great hair products and accessories are CLUTCH in the hair growth journey... there might be a few things you are ignoring that can NEGATIVELY impact your hair growth if you aren't addressing them.

Gotta share them with you, friend.

  • Diet. WAH WAH. I know you don't want to hear it, but it is definitely a factor in hair growth and strength. Adequate protein, iron, and vitamins such as B12, D, and E, all play a role in maintaining healthy hair. Incorporate foods such as eggs, nuts, leafy greens, and fish into your diet to help boost hair growth.
  • Supplements: Some supplements like biotin, collagen, and omega-3 fatty acids may help improve the health of your hair. Here is an interesting article about straight biotin supplements -- which is where everyone seems to jump. I'm not sold. • Scalp care. I've said it time and time again. But are you DOING IT? Regular scalp massages and exoliation can help promote hair growth by increasing blood flow to the hair follicles. You can use essential oils such as peppermint, rosemary, or lavender oil for added benefits. Rejuveniqe...hello!!!!!!!
  • Sleep. Lack of sleep and high levels of stress can lead to hormonal imbalances that can negatively impact hair growth. I love sleep. I know you do too. Make sure you are getting enough. 6 tips to better sleep from MAYO.
  • Stress: High levels of stress can lead to hair loss, so finding ways to manage your stress, such as exercise or meditation, can help promote healthy hair growth. Exercise is my stress reliever, happy juice.

Get working on all the things!!  Don't rely on growth serums and shampoos without taking a long hard look at some of these pretty BIG contributors to your hair health and overall strength.
