Wavy Hair Tips

If you hate your waves -- we have some tips for you to learn to love them.

If you find that they are stringy, flat, frizzy, loose, or otherwise not the hair of your dreams...you may want to implement any of the 3 wavy girl tips below:

HYDRATION IS KEY
- Wavy hair tends to be more prone to dryness and frizz. To maintain healthy and hydrated waves, use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner designed for wavy or curly hair. Look for products that contain ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, or argan oil to lock in moisture.
- Consider incorporating a deep conditioning treatment into your hair care routine once a week to keep your waves soft and manageable.

AVOID OVERWASHING
- Wavy hair doesn't need to be washed as frequently as straight hair. Over washing can strip your hair of its natural oils, leaving it dry and frizzy. Aim to wash your wavy hair every 2-3 days or as needed.
- On non-wash days, you can use a dry shampoo to refresh your roots and absorb excess oil while preserving your waves.

USE THE PINEAPPLE to preserve texture
- Try the "pineapple" method at night to protect your waves while you sleep. Gather your hair into a loose, high ponytail or bun on top of your head before bed. This helps prevent friction and maintains your waves' shape.

We love your waves....but do you?
